Since 2002 a small community has come together to build and then to the accompaniment of music, singing, fireworks, performance and storytelling, cremate a themed sculptural bonfire in a spangtacular festival of fire.
Over the past few years this has also grown to include Panto’ productions and there's still more to come...

  

  
This was an everyday tale of life in a typical country village – or at least, a country village terrorised by a dragon.
We thrilled as have-a-go heroes risk life and limb to subdue the rampaging creature which has seemingly returned after ten years.  We groaned as the local council wrestles with issues from cess pits to bus shelters, from the village’s very own Olympic bid to the fearsome dragon threatening to flatten the village.
Can brave Sir Mike once again save the day? Or are there new heroes ready to take up the fiery challenge?

Our last event was our 'Decade of Fire' bonfire in October 2011.

Sir Mike (our hero) returned to the Village, but all was not well. He had forgotten everything that was really important and after being reminded of some of his past adventures this soon became clear...
